You know when you see a picture and you just can’t stop staring at it? That’s what happens to me every time I do a photo shoot. I can’t wait to get home and see what amazing pictures are just waiting to be uncovered from inside my camera. What’s even more exciting is when you see your pictures and you love them as much as I do. When you see that cute, mischievous grin, or the pout that is so characteristic of your child. Or you remember the joy in their laughter. In my mind, there is no better job than recording those family moments that are so fleeting, but so important. How we feel when we look at pictures of our loved ones is one of the best feelings in the world—the feeling of belonging, of being needed, and of being loved. Truly, what I do is not a job—it is a joy.
