What should we wear?
Well, if you're a baby, you can get away with wearing nothing! If you're not a baby, I strongly suggest you wear clothes :) Solid colors work best. Avoid stripes and logos, as they draw attention away from the subject and inhibit the creation of a classic portrait. Great combinations are white or black shirts with khakis or jeans. Girls in white dresses are enchanting. Feel free to also bring dress-up clothes or any props that will individualize your portrait, such as a favorite stuffed animal or blanket. You may bring up to three changes of clothing, and I would be happy to recommend which would work best in the setting you have chosen.

When will our portraits be ready for viewing?
It typically takes me about two weeks to prepare your portraits for viewing. I create a DVD slideshow of the best 30-50 portraits from your session. I will call to set up an appointment to meet with you in your home so we can view the DVD together. You will order your portraits at this time. During your ordering session, I will consult with you concerning where to hang your portraits and which are the best sizes for the areas you have chosen. After ordering, your portraits will arrive in about two weeks.

What if I need to change my session date?
It's just your luck that your son decides to cut his own hair two days before your session. Or your daughter breaks her arm when she falls off her bike. I totally understand! The $50 deposit for your session is non-refundable, but it can be applied to any other date within 45 days of your original session. That should provide enough time for your son's hair to grow back and for your daughter to get her cast off! Minor cuts and bruises do not require a date change, as those can be removed from your portraits in post-processing.
